“Delivering person centred care with dignity & respect”
Dignity, privacy and personal choice

Our person centred care planning recognises that each and every person is an individual with specific needs and this is central to our philosophy and approach. Our staff can visit prospective residents in the comfort of their own homes to assess their care needs before they take up residency at the Nursing Home. This person centred approach to care ensures that we are able to meet the needs of residents and that their dignity and privacy is respected and maintained.

We aim to provide each resident with the individual care and support they need to enable them to continue to lead a comfortable life, to exercise choice and to be actively involved in their care whilst maintaining outside links with family and friends.

Experienced qualified nurses and carers

Be assured that our Nurses are very experienced in what they do and are able to respond quickly to the ever changing needs of all our residents. They are focussed and highly trained to deliver the exacting service levels that have become synonymous with the Nursing Home’s enviable local reputation.

We have over 50% of the care staff qualified to NVQ2 in care and above. When combined with low staff turnover we are able to ensure continuity of care to all our residents with many carers forming close ties to residents and their families. As part of their induction all staff are subjected to Protection of Vulnerable Adults and CRB checks and references are always obtained.

Training & quality assurance

We place great importance on the regular training of all of our staff to ensure that they are competent to meet the care needs of each of our residents. We also maintain a comprehensive quality assurance programme to regularly monitor the standard of the services that we offer in the Home.
